Ruby's March litter of Mini Doodles have arrived!

All day Monday, Ruby was nesting...in the bushes, with blankets, and in a hollow tree-- trying to find the perfect birthing place. At 4 o clock in the morning, Ruby woke me up and told me (in true canine fashion) that she was ready to have her puppies! She delivered her first puppy at about 5:30. Three and a half hours later, Ruby, a tired but much happier dog, was finished bringing her puppies into the world...all 7 of them! Now she is proudly taking care of her babies so they will be PERFECT by the time they are ready for "homecoming day"!

...geese returning to our pond to have their gosslings...
...flowers sprouting in the gardens...
...picnics...
...fun on the trampoline...
...canoeing...
...buzzards nesting in the barn....
...bike rides and rollerblading...
...BUT BEST OF ALL...
...litters of fluffy puppies...
...filling the house with love!!!
